چکیده

This paper deals with the stability analysis of a simple metabolic system with feedback inhibition. The system is a sequence of monomolecular enzymatic reactions. The last metabolite acts as a feedback regulator for the rst enzyme of the pathway. The enzymatic reactions of the pathway satisfy MichaelisMenten kinetics. The inhibition is described by an hyperbolic model. Without inhibition, it is clear that the system is cooperative and has a single globally asymptotically stable equilibrium. But, in the common situation where there is inhibition, the system is no longer cooperative and the stability analysis is more intricate. In this paper we exhibit su cient conditions on the kinetic parameters in order to guarantee that this simple metabolic system with inhibition still has a single globally asymptotically stable equilibrium.

Stability analysis and feedback control of T-S fuzzy hyperbolic delay model for a class of nonlinear systems with time-varying delay

In this paper, a new T-S fuzzy hyperbolic delay model for a class of nonlinear systems with time-varying delay, is presented to address the problems of stability analysis and feedback control. Fuzzy controller is designed based on the parallel distributed compensation (PDC), and with a new Lyapunov function, delay dependent asymptotic stability conditions of the closed-loop system are derived v...

Equilibria and stability analysis of a branched metabolic network with feedback inhibition

This paper deals with the analysis of a metabolic network with feedback inhibition. The considered system is an acyclic network of mono-molecular enzymatic reactions in which metabolites can act as feedback regulators on “preceding” enzymes of their own pathway, and in which one metabolite is the root of the whole network. We show, under mild assumptions, the uniqueness of the equilibrium. In t...

A New Robust Control Design Based on Feedback Compensator for Sssc

In this paper, the modified linearized Phillips-Heffron model is utilized to theoretically analyze asingle-machine infinite-bus (SMIB) installed with SSSC. Then, the results of this analysis are used forassessing the potential of an SSSC supplementary controller to improve the dynamic stability of apower system. This is carried out by measuring the electromechanical controllability through sing...

Enhancement of Robust Tracking Performance via Switching Supervisory Adaptive Control

When the process is highly uncertain, even linear minimum phase systems must sacrifice desirable feedback control benefits to avoid an excessive ‘cost of feedback’, while preserving the robust stability. In this paper, the problem of supervisory based switching Quantitative Feedback Theory (QFT) control is proposed for the control of highly uncertain plants. According to this strategy, the unce...

Passivity-Based Stability Analysis and Robust Practical Stabilization of Nonlinear Affine Systems with Non-vanishing Perturbations

This paper presents some analyses about the robust practical stability of a class of nonlinear affine systems in the presence of non-vanishing perturbations based on the passivity concept. The given analyses confirm the robust passivity property of the perturbed nonlinear systems in a certain region. Moreover, robust control laws are designed to guarantee the practical stability of the perturbe...
